everyone who is interested in the Palestinien issues in Oslo, here is some news for you. Yesterday, the youngest Mohamed has been arresten and brought to Trodom, the deportation prison. He has been just picked up on the street. Therefore there was a demonstration at the Foreign Policy building. Beginning as a peacefull demonstration, followed by a few six pack...means big police cars, ready to arrest people...it was hard to controll the anger. Lucky for us, we managed and went back to the camp after we realized, that this will only leads to more arrestments.
Most of the guyes stayed up all night. Me and Giedre tried to sleep a little bit, as we were planning to get up at four to go to the airport. About two the police came with some ridiculous accussations...more than to meter hight guyes, acting very cool, talking to a small woman from the Antiracist centre...ehm...
We organized ourselves quickly, as to react to this sithuation has been prepared since a long time, the lawyer has been contacted immediately. Few printed flyers and we decided not to go the Deportation prison, but to solve true the lawyer. After what we saw at the Foreign Policy building, we just wanted to avoid clashes with the police.
About ten people, all Europeen citizens, ready to be arrested, off to the airport to try to catch up Mohamed and give out flyers to the passangers and pilots...etc. Nothing much happend at the airport, appart from that about 1000 people know about Mohameds case and the Camp issue in Oslo...
Now Mohamed is brought back to Oslo for court, which starts at one o'clock. So we all be there to support him. Feel good and gives us hope. Nevertheless...still I am little bit scared, that all those promises were just words...
There is a speculation about a current deal between Norway and Israel, which is the real cause for the change in this issue. But no one seems to know, what that exactly is.
